A hike-
The day before third grade.
A little bit serious,
A little bit silly,
Legs longer than the trail.

Mountain goat-
Scrambling up,
and over,
and around,
and through.

Minecraft and military history and mysteries.
It’s the last chance he has to tell me everything he knows about everything he knows
before the complies with society’s desire that he sit silently for the next nine months.

Here are the trail details:

Backbone Loop was the name of it in AllTrails but more accurately: portions of Controlled Burn Trail, Rogers, AR.
(Connected to Lake Atalanta trail system)
